Meet Linda, a senior powerlifter who defies age and expectations! She recently set a national record in powerlifting, an incredible achievement in its own right. What makes her journey even more inspiring is the way she used the power of Muscle Guided Training.
During her training, our system revealed a fascinating insight: a compensation mechanism in her movement. Because of this insight, Kyle Young, Head Coach for Team USA and Director of Business Development at Kabuki Strength, was able to understand which training intervention was necessary.
With a simple alteration of the movement, Kyle helped Linda overcome this compensation mechanism. Not only that, but this facilitated training of an auxiliary movement with 70% less weight (less risk), and a better training stimulus (confirmed by the Oro Muscles Wearable).
Linda's story highlights the core philosophy of our system - Muscle Guided Training, using data straight from the source of performance to ensure athletes are getting the optimal training stimulus for their goals.
Each athlete is unique, with distinctive body movements and biomechanics. The physics required for optimal performance vary from person to person. Our technology recognizes these nuances, offering coaches and athletes a way to fine-tune their training for maximum performance.

Our trip to Uruguay was an incredible blend of innovation and history. While we explored advanced training centers and football pitches, we also had the privilege of standing on the hallowed ground where the very first World Cup was played. We had the incredible opportunity to watch Racing Club, Dr. Carlos Ohanian's team, play in the iconic World Cup stadium. Check out the highlights in our journey through muscle monitoring and football history!
With this trip, we were able to spend quality time with Carlos, iterating our product to ensure its scalability for sports clubs and the broader medical market. Over the past year, we've delved deep into refining The Oro Wearable. Carlos's dedication and insights have been pivotal. He assessed various solutions, evaluated the needs of athletes and coaches, and recognised a critical gap - the lack of a quantitative measure of functional muscle performance. Traditional methods like MRIs, dynamometers, and force plates offer limited insight into muscle dynamics, how the movement is produced.
And that's not all! We had also the pleasure of hanging out with the remarkable Anna Sinicariello, a female professional football player!
