It’s 2 more days till the release of my track ‘The Only Way Is Up’ on Prototypes Records's VA Industrial Troopers. I wanted to take this post to tell you guys a bit more about this project and give some credit to the awesome guys I’ve worked with for the vocals.

So, obviously the whole Corona deal of the past 2 years took a toll on me, like on many others. I tried to keep off social media as much as possible as I couldn’t stand the negativity going around and mostly suffered in silence. In the mean time I could not get myself to do anything for school or music and was having therapy for my ADD and my inability to get s**t done. I really hated to see the division this pandemic situation caused with people and started to realize I had to get a different look on things myself first. Even though everything wasn’t over my mindset slowly started to change and I realized I am the only one who’s responsible for my perception of life and doing the things I want in this short time we’re here. I got started on this track and while building it I decided I wanted to share my new found positivity with anyone who’s willing to listen. I got to know Jens earlier in the pandemic and we talked about collabbing before, but now felt like the right time. We met to exchange ideas and he started writing. When he came to me with the results I was amazed with how well he was able to put what I felt into words. After finalizing the lyrics I pitched my idea to Tom aka Not Sure who, to my excitement, also really liked it and wanted to perform his vocals this track. I asked Lars for the second vocal part and man, did these guys deliver! I’m more than happy with the results and I think together we made something that is a unique take on hardcore and I’m so thankful for the support of Prototypes Records.
This song is for anyone who had a hard time in the past 2 years, who’s going through a hard time right now and I want you to realize that all pain is temporary and you have the strength and fire in you to make your life what ever you want it to be. There will always be tough phases in everyone’s life, you just have to channel your inner strength and keep getting up no matter what! We’ll always have our hard music to pull us through.
