πŸŽ‰ Happy Father's Day to all Dads, Father Figures, and Male Role Models! πŸŽ‰ Today, we celebrate the indispensable role fathers play in nurturing their children.πŸ’ͺ🏽 Fathers are pivotal in children’s lives, and "My Dad's Journey" beautifully shows that fathers are as vital as mothers in parenting and #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment. ❀️ πŸ‘¨πŸΎβ€πŸΌ Paternal involvement shapes family dynamics and has lifelong impacts with multi-faceted benefits for dads, children, mothers, and entire families. Father engagement is key to #NurturingCare that benefits everyone. By promoting positive masculinity, we enrich family dynamics, empower children, and foster stronger communities. Fathers have a right to actively participate in parenting from the start. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ We also honor all male role models crucial to children’s development, including biological fathers, foster and adoptive parents, and individuals in multigenerational households like uncles and grandfathers. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§ You don’t need to be a father to be a significant influence in a child’s life. Let’s celebrate the incredible dads and male role models who make a difference every day! πŸŽŠπŸ’™ #FathersDay #PositiveMasculinity #Fatherhood #Family #ChildDevelopment #EMiNC #ISSA

🌟 Flashback Friday 🌟 Last week, ISSA's Executive Director, Liana Ghent, spoke on a panel at #ISSAMember AΓ‡EV - Anne Γ‡ocuk Eğitim VakfΔ±'s conference in Istanbul. β€œWe need to ensure collaboration, cooperation, coordination, and a lot of dialogue.” 🎀🀝 Using the iceberg metaphor, 🧊 Liana reminded us that beneath the surface are our values, shared understandings, and pedagogical approaches. These are the impetus that drive us in taking action and designing policies for young children. To truly support #YoungChildren, we must unpack these values to see how young children fit into a prosperous, peaceful society for today and tomorrow. πŸŒπŸ‘Ά A better world for them is a better world for us all! Liana also highlighted how a network mindset maximizes impact. 🌐πŸ’ͺ Networks, even at the local level, are incredibly powerful in organizing for greater impact. #Collaboration #NetworkAdvantage #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment
