Played 2 shows out of 3 today (more to come in 2024), tonight it’s the actual premiere, in my hometown, in this beautiful theater. I feel very lucky, as I’m a vessel of true stories, stories that my grandparents and great grandparents live/d to tell. I can’t help but shivering in certain scenes, knowing the war happened on these very streets, among these walls. Honored to have been invited to be part of this project! ✨🙏🏻

Seeing my name on the board tonight reminded me I should never stop dreaming big… Because I actually do stop, some times, getting lost in the myriad of things that are supposed to prepare me for those big dreams.

Here at last! ‘Sulla Rotta di Cristoforo Colombo’ is available on all digital platforms ✨Having the chance to pay a tribute to one of the most relevant songwriters of Italy was truly special. Lucio Dalla left us way too soon, back in 2012, but he was one of a kind: he formed himself as a jazz musician and only later on combined that with the pleasure of writing songs in a more popular way. Some of those songs are tightly wrapped around my childhood memories, and I love listening back to them, as they make me feel at (my first) home again. 🤍

As I said, the first one is really special 🤍 Truly one of the most impactful, beloved composers of my homeland… Ennio Morricone. I was lucky enough to catch him live once, I had constant goosebumps. Singing this gorgeous and timeless melody was tough, ‘cause I had a knot in my throat, like never before, throughout the entire recording session. Purely out of emotions that this composition triggered in me.

And now it will be available for all of you to listen. I’m nervous, honored, and excited to hear from you all what you think of it!

Yesterday was really special, I feel like I got the confirmation (from myself and for myself) that a new artistic chapter has begun. I will be able to share this performance with everyone soon, but in the meantime I’m just grateful for every person that has been there to witness the moment, near or far. Thank you. 🙏🏻 📸

This morning I was finally hanging some frames in my kitchen and I felt like sharing this: my dad used to draw when he was my about my age, and this is a drawing of a picture he previously took with his (now) vintage Canon. My parents got together around the age of 19 (also the age they are in the drawing 😍) and never parted. I always looked up to them for being so relentless as a couple, I can only wish to have inherited a bit of their strength. And so I asked my dad if he liked the idea that I could have this one drawing always with me, in Rotterdam, cause I think it’s stunning. ✨❤️

Loved playing at last Saturday, and I’m definitely going back as a customer soon ❤️

Throwback Monday to a very special concert I played in June. It was my first time presenting my album all by myself, and man was I nervous!
Luckily the owner of this unique place, Ruben, is an artist and art lover himself, and made sure I felt home and inspired. What I find unique about CulturehubRotterdam is how rich it is in all the art forms it embraces and actively proposes. If you haven't been there yet, please go!

Lullaby of the Sea is the song that best represents me as a the songwriter I was while writing my first record, and you all welcomed it so warmly. It’s also the song that has been listened to the most, so far. I’m well aware that digital releases’ numbers are far higher when it comes to biiig/iconic artists, but to me this means a lot and I’m grateful. Little steps. There’s no other feeling like a song coming to life!
