If you have been to Balkan Deli you must have noticed our traditional brick oven bread. The bread is made fresh every day with no additives! Did you know that our traditional bun is vegan?

The “Deli Lunch” is a lunch platter that will give you enough energy to get true these cloudy days! The platter comes with soup, veggies, cheese pie and a selectable sandwich at your pick! Our avocado smash with feta is an absolute banger💥

The lunchplatter is available at our deli and also for to go! Soon also availeble at your office in the Rotterdam city region..

Every last friday of the month we are celebrating balkan night! Good food, live music, drinks and lots of boogie woogie 🎼🎹🎸

The place gets filled up quick so plan in advance so you don’t miss out!

Dear followers,

This year we are open for a sit down diner for Christmas!!

25th & 26th of december we are serving a special 3 course Christmas menu for 55,- p.p (with a rakija to start off the evening)

We have a early diner shift ( the ‘we have children but still want to get hammered for Christmas’-shift) 15:30 - 18:00

And the regular diner shift 19:00-22:00.

Besides the sit down diner, of course we are selling our usual roasted meats and sides. Make your reservations and orders on time!

we would like to make 2 announcements:

1. Balkan Deli will be closed from the 25th of July up until the 4th of August. We will be back on the 5th of August.

2. The 7th of October we will be hosting our first Balkan Live Music Night at our location Westzeedijk. Our traditional meals will be served in an all you can eat buffet style. Make sure to make your reservations on time. Full is full. (More info will follow soon)

Meet Zvezdan, he is a regular at Balkan Deli. He visits us at least once a week. Zvezdan enjoys our balkan dishes as well as our Rakija, because it reminds him of home. While we were doing a photoshoot of our home cooked meals, Zvezdan was dropping by the deli and volunteered to star in the photo’s in exchange for trying out the meals we prepared for the shoot. We love Zvezdan as much as he loves rakija!

Our Scampi from the chef are made in traditional “Buzara” white wine tomato sauce that goes perfectly with our homemade bread of course. Great as an appetizer with some Balkan wines 🦐🥂

Our veal is cooked in a traditional clay sač, the meat is therefore very tender and soft. The veal is served with oven potatoes and grilled veggies.
