THE MASTERMIND
And last but not least, here is the mastermind behind the EP that is now almost done. This man has been my biggest cheerleader from the start. He pushed me to take myself more seriously, advised me on recording gear, helped me get started on Pro Tools and never stopped encouraging me to get things done. If it weren’t for him, this EP never would have happened the way it did. Thank you so much, Robert Mache. For your unconditional friendship, your guidance, your laughter, your beautiful recordings, your wizard skills when it comes to mixing and your endless patience. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve created and beyond grateful! ❤️
SURPRISE GUEST #3
Maybe not a total surprise as Kieran Ledwidge already recorded a beautiful violin part for ‘Back into Darkness’ back in 2021 (which will be included on the EP). I am absolutely delighted that he wanted to join us for another song. Not only is he incredibly talented but he is also one of my favourite people! We met in 2017 when he was touring with Christopher Paul Stelling and barely exchanged three words. But somehow we stayed in touch and became fast friends. Last August we finally saw each other again in Dublin and I absolutely loved seeing him shine on stage with Delta Goodrem. Thanks so much, Kieran. Not just for another gorgeous piece of music, but for everything you are!❤️
SURPRISE GUEST #1
My very first EP is slowly but surely coming together, thanks to the help of some wonderful musicians and friends and the magic of Robert Mache, who is doing an amazing job producing it. I am a lucky girl!
I am so happy that Malcolm MacWatt wanted to collaborate with me on the title track. He turned the song into a mystical Celtic wonderland that had me in tears the moment Robert sent me the first mix. Can’t wait to share it with you when it is all done, but first be sure to check out Malcolm’s new album ‘Dark Harvest’ on 25 January. He is an amazing storyteller and multi-instrumentalist. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!🏴
Hope you had a good start of the year. ‘Another year’ can also be found on YouTube 🥂
