Ayurveda in Spring time.🌻 Normally I would stand here in the kitchen with my friend and co-founder of 4 Seasons Retreats: Marjolein, trying out delicious Ayurvedic dishes to be served during our seasonal retreats. 7-MIN WORK BREAK | ENERGIZE & FOCUS It’s incredibly important to keep moving and stretching during your work day, to keep your mojo going.🙂 Especially when you find yourself seated behind a desk a lot. Pause regularly to invigorate your mind, energize your body and bring your focus back into this moment! How are you doing, right now? The fun paradox is: the more we pause to realign our energy and focus, the more productive we often become. Slowing down IS moving forward. ✌️ So grant yourself 7 minutes of self-care and enjoy this sweet and fiery break with gentle stretches, deep breaths and a little core activation! I find core work to be very beneficial for bringing your focus back into your body & the moment, cause let’s face it: those burning sensations in the belly simply can’t be denied! 🙃 And it brings a whole other challenge to the game: despite the fiery sensations, can you keep it soft & easy, use only what you need, and now you’re at it: have a little fun?

I like my boat pose soft and flowy - despite the fiery sensation in the core. Afterall, I believe boats aren’t meant for being held in ‘stillness’ at bay. Aren’t they build for exploration, movement and adventure? So no perfect-pose-nailing on my mat today 🙃. Just wiggling around in my boat. ⛵️With Bruce.
