I’m excited to share a complete renovation completed by Infix in the heart of Rotterdam. Here are some snapshots of our masterpiece. We broke down walls and reconfigured the layout, transformed wallpaper into smooth plaster and paint, and replaced carpet with elegant PVC flooring. Not to mention the bathroom, it is completely revamped and stunning. You won’t believe how we’ve transformed an ’80s style into a modern 2024 design.

Right-angle corners, begonia corners, and tile edge trims are more aesthetically pleasing than glazed edges. It can be seen that the tile joints of the former are relatively decent than those of the latter.

🌜𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮
Begonia corners and tile edge trims are widely adopted in the home improvement industry. Indeed, they are also the two main methods of mitred tiling provided by Infix. The reason why right angles are not recommended: As we all know, tile joints are made by cutting two tiles at 45 degree. In other words, it's very sharp, so it is easy to chip due to collision.

💰 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚
Begonia corners require a lot of expertise, exceptional skill and equipment of the tiler. In addition, the tiler has to polish and trim the tile edges many times in order to meet the standard of begonia corners. Therefore, the labor cost will be higher than that of the tile edge trims.
