From some of you we are still eagerly awaiting payment. Maybe you didn't receive the e-mail or maybe there is another reason (in that case, please send us an e-mail). So please check your spam and let us know if you haven't received any message from us yet.
At the end of the week, we'll start cancelling the unpaid registrations, to make room for people on the waiting list!

It's been a couple of weeks and we want to give you an update. Thank you for your patience and your enthusiasm in registering for SwingDom 2024.

We have had so many registration that all party passes and Full Passes for Lindy Hop have been sold out already!
We do keep a waitlist, so if people forfeit their spot, there might be spots opening up again.

If you have been waitlisted also consider joining one of the Solo Jazz tracks. There are still a few spot there, although it is filling up quickly.

Before discovering swing, Alexia Legoueix listened to heavy metal and played the drums. She is still waiting for the Swing cover of the song “Enter Sandman” by the guys from Swing Deluxe.
Alexia had her first taste of Swing in 2005 and was immediately attracted by the playfulness of Lindy Hop. Since then, she has been travelling through Europe and the United States to discover the various faces of this dance, and of Jazz dance in general.
Trained in classical ballet and modern Jazz, Alexia also explores Afro-American dance styles, reaching out to African dance and all the way through to contemporary dance, with a special interest in rhythms and percussions.
She regularly teaches classes in France and Europe, and has been as far as Asia (Armenia, Corea, China) to transmit her passion for Lindy Hop.
Since 2018, Alexia has been a member of the international dance group “Mind the Beat”.

We are proud to present Nicolas Deniau ! Nicolas started swing dancing as a young boy in the early nineties. At this age Boogie Woogie was his big craze, with competitions and fancy steps as the driving force. As a youngster, the interest in Lindy Hop spurred and he was captured by the social dance scene. The aspect of communicating with people through dancing became, and still is, a big inspiration. Through the years, swing music has become a bigger part of his life, in and outside of dancing. Get ready for ! Hyunjung Choi is a swing dancer, instructor and choreographer. Having majored in Korean traditional dance and enjoyed various dances such as dance sport and ballet, she came across swing dance in 2005, and instantly became fascinated by the dance. Since 2006, she has been teaching various lindy hop classes with new ideas, aiming for the growth of Korean swing dance scene, as well as competing internationally to acquire various titles. Especially her name became known to others by winning the 1st place in “Hellzapoppin contest, Frankie 100” She continues to show her unique character in workshops and events all around the world. She is a passionate dancer who strives to better express herself, and her delightful dancing gives positive energy to everyone who watches her dance.

Built around the year 1000, the Buurkerk has seen it all—from fires and floods to serving as a bakery and stable during times of war. Today, it stands as a testament to resilience and history, now transformed into a museum in 1984. 🌟

From the largest barrel organs to the smallest music boxes, get ready to be inspired by the magic of music and the rich history of this extraordinary venue. Stay tuned for more details! 🎵

We already know what happens when Carolina Reapers Swing go on stage: the irresistible swing, the explosion of energy, the craziness — and not to forget the exquisite repertoire, the subtlety, the unique moments — and one sure thing: dancing won't stop until that last note is played as they bring one hell of a party.

A repertoire mixing swing-era arrangements and purely improvisational jam numbers.

A team composed of gifted and creative soloists supported by a pure-swing rhythm section : trumpet Guillaume Gardey de Soos, trombonist Sami Khalfoune, saxophonist Mickaël Pernet, pianist Joseph Vu Van, guitarist and singer Charles Huck, drummer Gabriel Rigaud, and Fernando Morrison, bassist and band-leader.

Their performances are always surprising, full of inspiration and creativity, and you'll never hear a song played twice the same way. Together they are a group of outstanding musicians and passionate individuals who take it upon themselves to make every Carolina Reapers Swing show a one-of-a-kind experience.

Sep Vermeersch is a unique and committed creative. He’s a passionate jazz, blues & swing dancer and aspiring expert in the matter. When teaching he prefers holding space as a facilitator. It’s all about the ‘jazz’ process: historical context, personal development and expressing your own style while trying to appreciate this African American art form as a guest. He also knows how to handle the Dj Booth mixing for dancing crowds or holds the mike when holding space as a sensuous MC. Sep also shapes and organizes events and festivals such as Upside Down Festival, Big City Blues or LouisLou’s Dance Madness.

The combination of his educational background, playful attitude and daily practice make him a unique person to collaborate with. His curiosity for the deep ways of jazz, humanity and his successful performances in the sector make him a welcomed guest in various projects around the globe. Get to meet Sep and allow yourself to be shaken with love and groove.

After her success last year, we've invited Clàudia Fonte to SwingDom again! Having Swing music as her main source of inspiration, she embraces diverse playful ways to push her dancing forward. Clàudia admires and studies the Jazz roots, focusing on its music and dancing, as a never-ending process in her development as a dancer. Following the Jazz spirit, believing in its evolution, she is constantly seeking new approaches to apply in her dancing, knowing that the basics are the fundamentals to revisit to keep on growing. She makes sure that whenever in class, there are always connections to its essence in different ways, from learning and creating individually and together to feeling like a being in a party!

Get ready for the teachers! Laura Glaess has been an influential voice in Lindy Hop competition, performance, and education for the past 20 years. She has won countless awards and acknowledgments at international competitions, and has taught at festivals in 22 countries spanning 5 continents. She is an original cast member in Caleb Teicher’s groundbreaking show Sw!ng Out, which has performed at the Joyce, Jacob’s Pillow, and has toured around the United States. Her Youtube channel dedicated to Lindy Hop history, vocabulary, partnering, and body movement is one of the most popular and influential in the scene. Don't hesitate to register for her classes in November!
