This weekend, the 3rd of December, we celebrated a special day at orthopedic center Profort Tunja Colombia; International Disability Day. On top of that, we celebrated that we have already served 1000 people with disabilities in the Boyaca region, delivering movement to empower people who need it most! 🎈

The new 3D printer has arrived! Innovation is one of the main values within Profort. Therefore, we are happy to share with you that we will be using this 3D printer for the manufacturing of hand splints! Past week, Nina, our clinical engineer from the Delft University of Technology has spent her time on the installation and implementation of the printer so Profort can get started with printing orthoses.

Our first clinic, Profort has been founded on the basis of 5 pillars. One of them being Accessibility. Thousands of people with a disability in Colombia need to travel for several hours in order to access healthcare. Being the first INVIMA certified orthopaedic clinic in Boyacá, we strive for change, starting today!
