Harry van Ekert, a master goldsmith, started working with flutes in 1986 in the workshop of Trevor James in London, England. In 1988 he and his wife Cilia van Uffelen moved to the USA to work at the Powell workshop in Boston. Zondag 22 november zullen wij in Breda met onze Eloy Fluiten aanwezig zijn op FL-uitmarkt van het Nederlands Fluit Genootschap. Wij nodigen iedereen uit daar onze professionele handgemaakte fluiten en kopstukken te komen proberen! Tot ziens?

H & C Dwarsfluiten
This week we welcome Peppe from Italy in the workshop of H&C Dwarsfluiten. He is going to build, under the supervision of Harry van Ekert and Cilia van Uffelen, his own silver handmade flute. In the five week that this is going to take him, we will follow him through the different building-processes and report about it on this page. Anybody interested in building his/her own flute? Mokume Gane Artisten
On the 25th of April an Eloy Flute will be exhibited in the "Schmückmuseum" in Hanau, Germany. Katrien Heerkens will perform during the opening of the exhibition on a Palladium/White gold Mokumeum flute; Our flute with Mokume Gane tube.
