DJ The Enforcer
DJ, Producer and Co-Founder at Strength of Unity DJ The Enforcer started listening to electronic music in the early ‘90s.
At first he collected vinyl with Techno, Acid or Trance tracks. At that time he listened regularly to a show called Grooveyard on Radio 100, a pirate radio station in Amsterdam. This show was his very source of what we now call the Oldskool style. He then experienced the gradual development of that style into the recognizable Gabber sound of the ‘90s. Gabber is a movement based on Hardcore music, friendship and rebellion. It emerged from the underground of The Netherlands in the early ‘90s. Together, the Gabbers with their Australian tracksuits, Air Max's, bald heads and bomber jackets, formed the country’s only homegrown subculture.
