Healthy gut = better mood
Struggling with stress, depression, or anxiety? You might be tempted by comfort foods like ice cream and pizza, but recent article by New Your Times suggests they might not help your mental health.
Instead, try whole foods like veggies, fruits, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, and yogurt for a better mood boost.
🔍 Nutritional Psychiatry is a growing field exploring how diet affects mental wellness. Research shows a healthy gut, influenced by what we eat, can improve our mood.
📊 Key Findings:
People eating nutrient-dense foods report less depression and more happiness.
A study of 12,400 people over seven years found that increased fruit and veggie intake led to higher happiness and life satisfaction.
🌱 Next time you’re feeling down, reach for whole foods—your brain and gut will thank you!

Sending love to all 💚
It’s 💚
Let us all recognize the importance of mental health and those who are struggling.
Remember to ask yourself and others how they are actually feeling, and don’t give up on yourself and others in your/their struggle with mental health.
Repeat after me:
- I’m not alone
- It’s okay to ask for help
- I’m worthy of love and respect
- My well-being matters
- It’s okay to set boundaries
- It’s okay to prioritize my own happiness
- It’s okay to feel sad
- It’s okay to feel insecure
Hey peeps! 💕
Today we’re talking about rejection.
Let’s be honest, rejection hurts. It can make you question yourself, on so many levels, such as your abilities and whether you’re good enough for that job, that course, or even a romantic relationship. But here’s the thing, rejection sucks, it really does. But it’s a completely unavoidable part of life. So, we need to just learn how to deal with it better.
Sooo... Don’t bottle up those emotions! Let them out, acknowledge them, vent to a friend, write them down – whatever helps you process.
Remember: Reframing your thinking in this is crucial. Instead of “I’m not good enough,” try “This wasn’t the right fit, but there’s something better out there for me.
What do you think?
It’s always a good time to talk 🗣️

Discovery alert ✨.
Researches have found that instead of chasing self-esteem as if were the golden nugget, we should encourage the development of self-compassion. They discovered that unlike self-esteem - self-compassion does not lead to blaming others in order to feel good about oneself. By working on our self-compassion we can learn to feel good about ourselves not because we're special and above average, but because we're human beings intrinsically worthy of respect.

New year, new beginnings! ✨2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣✨
It's this time of year you might feel a little extra motivated to take control of your life and achieve what you propose. However, many of us tend to get detoured on our way to accomplishing our goals.
No worries, we have all been there and that's why we are giving you 5 incredibly effective and scientifically proved tips to make your 2022 resolutions stick.
1. Adding a bit more detail to your plan. Instead of "I'll exercise twice a week" try changing it to "I'll go to the gym on Mondays and Thursdays after class".
2. Spreading the word about your new resolutions can help you commit to what you have said. You can even share it on social media.
3. Research has shown that focusing on efficiency can leave you high and dry because you'll neglect an even more important part of the equation: whether you enjoy the act of goal pursuit. Consider having a guilty pleasure tied to your main chore.
4. You can avoid this by setting tough goals but also giving yourself one or two chances to chances to break the rule.
5. Call that coach friend to share your goals and succeed together.
