sMaak, in collaboration with , will celebrate Liberation Day on the 5th of May by catering in the neighborhood of Coolhaven!

food spotlight no. 1 - vegan dolma !🫑

our vegan dolma is one of our most popular main dishes, and consists of bell-peppers stuffed with seasoned rice, veggies, and chickpeas😩

fun fact: the word dolma is of turkish origin, and means ‘something stuffed’

Hi my name is Paul Ravasio, I am a third-year bachelor student in IBA. I am french but have lived in Mexico and Luxembourg. I love traveling and discovering new cultures!

I am very excited to be part of sMaak for the rest of the year, being able to have a social impact during my studies is a great opportunity!

Meet the marketing manager, Aditi:

Heyy!! My name is Aditi, I’m 20 years old, and a third year econ and business econ student. I’m from India but moved around a lot growing up - I was first introduced to Middle Eastern cuisine when I lived in Egypt, which has now manifested into a serious hummus obsession (the sMaak hummus & falafel is a 10/10 ;))🤩

In my free time I love to draw, paint, read, visit museums (!!), watch F1, hang out with my friends, and ofc cook new recipes 🥟🥘🧆

Meet the events/opperations manager, Yasmina:

Hi everyone :) my name is Yasmina, im half Lebanese half Austrian and currently in my third year of IBA. I am really passionate about cooking and event management, this is why I joined sMaak again this year as events manager. I am really excited to see how far we can go with sMaak and maybe compete in the EWC again this year🤩

In my free time, you would definitely catch me at the gym, or hanging out with friends and im always down to party🥲

This Saturday sMaak will be standing at the Oogstmarkt (Sinterklaas edition)! 🎉🎉

Some pictures from the RSM STAR Case Club event!! People seemed to really enjoy the food. Even students from the middle-east were telling us this was some of the BEST falafel they ever had. Authentic cuisine always hit different 🤩🤌🏻

In most recent news at sMaak, we catered last friday's RSM STAR Case Club event. This was our biggest event up to date, so you best believe we came to impress. During this event, the case club organized a competition for students in which a 12h case about Domino’s would be assigned to registered teams. To keep students motivated and energized, our chefs came through with some our specialty dishes including falafel, baba ganoush and beef sarma. Thank you to everyone who came out and a special thank you to our chefs who worked hard to deliver high quality food. Here are some pictures of the process and the final product 🧆😁!

On March 10th, the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship hosted a workshop for those interested in the validation process of the entrepreneuship cycle. What better way to satiate your hunger than home-style middle-eastern cuisine made by our top chefs at sMaak. Featured dishes include staples such as vegetarian loempia, hummus, muttabal, and beef sarma. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to give it a try.
