Per Einar admits that Zaptec’s stylish design influenced his choice of charger - but also the fact that Zaptec is best for safety:

📣 We’re proud to unveil our latest innovation: the Zaptec Go 2. This next-generation European home charger continues the legacy of excellence established by its award-winning precursor, the Zaptec Go.
Today, this new EV charger is being showcased at Power2Drive, the international exhibition focusing on the future of mobility, held in Munich, Germany. Scheduled for release in Q4 2024, Zaptec Go 2 is MID-certified and equipped with a built-in display for monitoring kWh usage.
Now for the big news: Zaptec Go 2’s hardware aims to support AC vehicle-to-grid (V2G), enabling bi-directional charging. Compliance with the upcoming ISO 15118-20, and edition 4 of IEC 61851-1, will allow Zaptec Go 2 to communicate with your vehicle transforming your EV into an energy power bank.

Hold on to your seats! Today marks a milestone in Zaptec's history. We've signed a pan-European commercial and technological partnership with Polestar, a company we both admire and respect. Polestar + Zaptec = 🫶⚡️🚙
There are two very exciting sides to this partnership:
1. Our award-winning home charger, Zaptec Go, will now shine in Polestar Spaces all across Europe.
2. The technological part of the partnership involves an incredibly cool next-gen vehicle-to-grid tech project. More on this later. Stay tuned!

We know EV adoption is here to stay. So, as an EV charging manufacturer like ourselves, it’s fantastic to see how the development is expanding daily. A great sign for us internally at Zaptec is when we enter new markets 🚀
This week, we signed a new distributor in Kosovo and Croatia. How do we go from here? Well, the rules and regulations align with EU standards, and we have the green light to enter the new market with our products!
Over the past years, we have been on a mission to revamp our chargers. How are we doing so? By diving into refurbishment and recycling efforts to extend the lifespan of our Zaptec units, and make a meaningful impact on the rapidly growing issue of electronic waste. In fact, of all returns, 64% were refurbished and 36% recycled.
