VERY EXITED - this upcoming week Norwegian Dream - is hitting POLISH CINEMAS. Warsaw premiere on Monday 18.3 at 19.30, in KINO LUNA. Then on 22. March in regular cinemascreenings all over Poland!! Unfortunatly immigrant workers are often treated as second-class citizens, with their rights and needs often overlooked. This is especially true in the labor market, where they are often subjected to lower wages, longer working hours, sometimes mobbing and more dangerous conditions than their Norwegian counterparts. While this type of treatment is illegal under Norwegian law, the reality is that many immigrants are not aware of their rights and do not speak up for fear of losing their jobs or facing other repercussions in the workplace.
In Norwegian Dream - Robert, a hardworking and motivated Polish immigrant to Norway, is met with hostility and disrespect at the workplace. Mobbing and disrespect is unfortunately something that meets a lot of immigrants at work.
We hope that our film will shed light on this important issue and encourage a more open and honest dialogue about the treatment of immigrant workers in Norway. It's high time to acknowledge our contributions to the Norwegian society and to ensure that EVERYBODY is given the same rights and opportunities in Norway.
