The duo was formed in December 2019.

I have realized that Paul McCartney & Brian Wilson - two of the most prolific, world-changing contributors to modern music culture as we know it, were born just two days apart in the same year…… Happy 81st Birthday Gentlemen! Moy & Rønbeck - the short story
Moy & Rønbeck is a Norwegian pop duo with many years of experience from the music industry as musicians in various projects and as singer/songwriters. The duo was formed in December 2019 and band members are Henrik Moy Askildsen and Andreas N. Rønbeck.
Henrik Moy Askildsen runs Rapid Records from his apartment in Kristiansand. Recordings and songwriting are mostly done there. He has been the lead singer in Dryads (see cinematic movie about the band, directed by Sten Hellevig), Twinklehead and Syntax-e with a broad catalogue. He has also been the producer for Thom Hell (former Twinklehead member,) Andrea Dahle, Barbarian Twins and Rønbeck - among others. He recently debuted as the solo-artist MoY with the uptempo dance music track “Forever Young.”
Andreas N. Rønbeck runs Surfer Dude Records and Rønbeck Productions AS in Drammen. He has participated with lead and backing vocals on various tracks on Syntax-e and Twinklehead albums. He has been publishing 5 albums as the singer-songwriter Rønbeck and one album as Adrien (The Superwish Album) on Park Grammofon in 2005. He played at By:Larm in Tromsø as Adrien in 2006. He has been the lead singer in synthpop band ARGH from Tønsberg since 2014 with two albums published. In 2020 he started his own production company, producing and publishing music videos for Surfer Dude Records and various artists - among other projects.
Moy & Rønbeck has recorded an EP, so far, and will be publishing singles from this EP during 2020. They will start working on their debut album in 2020-21.
