A VW 412 with Porsche 911 engine have been a dream for many years. The car was ready for 911 engine and transmission when I bought it. The plan was just to put in a engine and put everything together and drive. But this story wanted a another ending :-) I used some wheels from one of my fathers Porsche´s. I really wanted Ruf (8x17) wheels, but they are really hard to get. But some day I heard from

Rear coilovers from Porsche GT2
Managed to get hold of a set Bilstein coilovers from Porsche 996 GT2 rear.
And the H&R spring fits like a glove 😊
They are perfect and almost bolt on
First roadtrip ever.
Some more adjustments needed.

A new generator was badly needed.
It reguired some machining and the local shop Cylmo did a perfect jobb as alwas 😊

Yes, the smoke is gone after overhauled the right turbo.
Will take the left one also.
Need some valve adjustment though 😊
At last the oil leak problem at turbo solved.
The turbos it the only part I didn’t overhauled because I bought this as good used parts.
But the oilrings was pretty worn out.
The exhaust ring was "hammered" on the outside and the intake ring has 0.73mm thickness compare to the new ones who is 0.83mm thick.
And with upgraded bearings
