📣 We are pleased to announce that the PERCEIVE project will actively participate in the upcoming inART24 Conference, scheduled to take place in Oslo from the 3rd to the 7th of June, 2024. This conference, hosted by the Museum of Cultural History (KHM) at the University of Oslo, will provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to engage in interdisciplinary discussions and share insights on topics related to art, culture, and technology.

💁‍♀️💁‍♂️ As part of our involvement in the conference, PERCEIVE will conduct a theoretical and practical workshop together with another group from the Norwegian University of
Science and Technology's Colorlab. Two workshops will be thus delivered during 3rd June will focus on fundamental aspects of color science, colored art collections, material appearance, appearance measurement, AI technologies for art and related topics. The workshops aim to foster a deeper understanding of these critical concepts within the context of cultural heritage and digital art.

🎤 We believe that the PERCEIVE workshop will contribute valuable insights and knowledge to the broader discourse surrounding the topic on the intersection of color, perception, and cultural heritage. We look forward to engaging with fellow conference participants and fostering collaborative discussions!

InART2024 is happy to host the pre-conference workshop "Colour and appearance for cultural heritage – new research approaches from the ApPEARS-ITN and Perceive_horizon projects" on 03.06.2024.
The workshop is free of charge and will showcase the activities of the NETApP (NFR-funded) and PERCEIVE (EU-funded) projects.
