Deep craterifrom ulcer involving left side of palate containing necrotic mass entangled with larvae

Examination revealed poor oral hygiene, the left maxillary gingivae and palate showed ulcerated and necrosed mucosal tissue, a bad odour and the presence of maggots, X-rays and CT scan showed soft tissue involvement, with destruction of the maxillary bone and concomitant involvement of the left maxillary sinus cavity.
