Made his first class debut at the age of 14 years for Baroda, and twice tried his luck for U19 world cups in 2006 and 2008, but did not make it

Then made a place in MI first season squad in IPL and played one match and got dropped

Poor performance in Ranji saw him stop getting chances and he started playing at club level

Was net bowler for KXIP in 2014 and was in their squad but played only 1 match and did not bat or bowl or take a catch

However, got noticed by UP and started playing Ranji and VH and SMAT for them, topping run charts and wickets charts both in 2017 -18. Was picked again in KXIP squad and played 1 match without batting or bowling yet again

However got dropped form UP team 2020 and was without a domestic team in 2020-21, but got a chance in UK squad as they needed allrounders. Did well, and got into LSG squad and played only 2 matches in place of Amit Mishra but was released. Ar 33 years of age, his career was more or less done and dusted

God only knows why RCB picked him, but they picked Alzarri Joseph also

Did not play first 8 matches

Was brought in vs SRH as impact sub only because Faf wanted to give chance to everybody as team was almost eliminated

Took 2 early wickets against run of play and ensured a victory

Since then, useful contributions in every match , most important vs GT when 6 wickets had fallen and he and DK took team to victory

Swapnil Singh , the ultimate journeyman and whose full stats are not even officially on the IPL website, was not done yet though
