A moment of GRATITUDE for all my students and frens….Thank you for following me here.Thank you for practicing with me whether in studio or in person.Thank you for giving me the time and space in your life to share a small piece of my self and yoga with you.Thank u for giving me the space to grow,learn and evolve…Thank you for being here for me.I know this post might seem little bit cringe to some but I have to learn that it’s important to focus on the little things in life that are so easily taken for granted….A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR AND THANK YOU FOR PRACTICING YOGA with ANAND

It’s not the destination…..it’s the journey…..Roads were made for journeys not the destinations…..I see my path but I don’t know where it leads….Not knowing where I am going is what inspires me to travel it……kathmandu-Lucknow-Gurugram-Chandigarh-Shimla-Manali-Kasol-ROHTANG Pass-Jaipur etc….7000 KM…beast felt like HOME..THANK YOU BEAST FOR BEING MY SHELTER!❤️

It’s never easy to get to the roots of YOGA STYLES and ASANA,but the term CHAIR YOGA was likely coined by LAKSHMI VOELKER binder in the US in 1980s.She began developing chair sequences and poses for students with limited mobility and for whom floor based yoga asana was no longer possible.How ever it’s origin most probably lie with yoga practitioner B.K.S IYENGAR…Iyengar yoga is famed for its use of props,including chairs and tools to deepen and develop asana.Most recently chair yoga has been integrated into and evolved to become a key aspect of accessible yoga.YOGA with ANAND
