MEGHALAYA COMPETITION is organising 2nd online speech competition (for grade: 10-12) and online art competition (for grade: 5-9) on the occasion of 2022 dashain and tihar for boosting awareness among the local people and also to show respect and honour to our culture, art and traditions.

Achievement: ‘Yantrika’ 0.1 Beta Version, the first Humanoid Artificial Intelligence (AI) Robot developed by the Faculty of Technology, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), has been placed in the position at the "SMART Maker Festival 2020" organised by SMART Society Canada, Business Upside, USA and IEM America Corporation and IEM-UEM❣️

Achievement: Team Nepal has secured 3 Bronze Medals in the 5th International Economics Olympiad-2022 held in Shanghai, China from July 26 to August 1 where 201 contestants participated from 41 countries worldwide. Team Nepal has been winning medals on this International platform every year till today.

Amazing: 24 Yrs Old Pujan Bhusal from Rupandehi has successfully made an Automatic Page Turning Machine which turns the pages of books with the help of sensor. It took around NRs. 2500 and one week to make this machine and it helps to turn the pages without touching the book with our hands to prevent the pages form getting dirty especially when we are eating while reading and it might be helpful to people who don't have hands too. ❤️

Greatly success of a two day workshop which has been organized on “Advanced Robotics and Implementation of Computer Vision in the field of Robotics” by Meghalaya club on 20th and 21th june .Around 35 students participated in this workshop to learn about computer vision. After two days, students learned about how computer vision is applied in modern robotics. Few of them have already started working on this area.
Day 1the workshop dealt with Image Processing (Robots dealing with Image) wherein the students were introduced to the functioning, making, basics & the concepts of computer vision-based Robot. A Image Processing Based Robotwas also demonstrated to the students. Looking at the interest and the eagerness of the participating students to know more about the bot, the Meghalaya team of Robotic decided to handover Bot to our Club.

Day 2 dealt with Machine Learning: regression, classification, supervised learning and introduction to convolutional neural network.
Thank you all the participates and the exclusive members for greatly success of these two days events.
