Ayurveda is probably the only science that encompasses happiness in the definition of health itself.



Ayurveda suggests numerous ways of self care, as advised in Dinacharya, the daily regimen. From the right food habit to sound sleep and so much more, Ayurveda suggests every single way so that our body will thank us for the love we show on ourselves that gets reflected as good health.



In Ayurveda, we are advised to do Abhyanga (body massage) daily with sneha (most commonly oil) which is a tiny but remarkable gesture of self love. Habits like these helps boost not just bone and muscle health but also help in release of happy hormones and love hormones.



Sneha, literally means love. It also means oil preparations. Unlike the conventional medical system where intake of ghee and oil is discouraged, Ayurveda suggests to take different kinds of sneha to individuals of different prakriti and dosha in different seasons wisely.



The first and foremost duty of an individual is to take care of their own health.
