Lions Club of Kathmandu Samakhushi is a very active Lions club of Nepal, over 80 members are actively participating for the social service through our club.
We are managing major project "Lions Sarvodaya Senior Citizen Home". club have 64 members in the club and our major projects are;
- Lions Sarvodaya Senior Citizen Home - Lamjung Tarkughat, Nepal
- oral Health and Dental camps in Schools
- Eye Cataract
- Scholarship program for the School students

Our Club's 1st program of the LY 2017-2018 has been started through "Scholarship" (i.e. fund Rs. 3,85,000.00) handover program !!!
Lions Club of Kathmandu Samakhushi and Lions Club of Germany Aachen club handover “Scholarship” fund Rs.3,85,000.00 which covers 6 students' yearly fee, stationery, books, dresses and bags, all the 6 students are studying at Everest School, Samakushi, Kathmandu, Nepal. The students are as following;
1. Monika Pariyar - Class 10, her mother is single working as household
2. Pragati Khatiwada – Class 6 – her father married with another women and step mother is not taking care of her
3. Ruby Sharma - Class 5 – parents are sick and they don’t have income source
4. Ali Sheikh – class 4 – his father has kidney failure and family doesn't any income source
5. Utsav Bohora – class 1 – parents are seriously sick and his Grand Mother is taking care of him
6. Rakib Rehman – class 9 – parents are sick and they don’t have income source.
This is our continuous support project jointly by two clubs from Nepal and Germany for their study.
