Additionally, the Mock Youth Parliament facilitates networking and collaboration among diverse youth,forming lasting connections.

Joint monitoring with Ganesh Nepali, the Chief District Officer of Kalikot, Mina Rawat Bishwakarma, Vice President of the District Coordination Committee, and Plan International Nepal, has successfully concluded from "Our Voices, Our Choices" Project in Nararahrinath Rural Municipality and Khadachakra Municipality in Kalikot District.

During the visit, our team extensively engaged with Citizen Action Groups, Youth Clubs, Dalit Networks, and Women Networks, actively observing their activities. Additionally, we convened a meeting with the municipal executive committees of Naraharinath Rural Municipality and Khadachakra Municipality to comprehensively discuss the ongoing progress in terms of democratic and civic advancements at the community level.

Regional Networking Meeting with CSOs.

Our team had productive meeting with the team from Naraharinath Rural Municipality, where we delved into a comprehensive discussion regarding the municipality's initiatives for dalit, youth, women, and marginalized members of the community. Our focus was on understanding the municipality's approach to involving these groups in the planning process and ex*****on of various activities.

Additionally, our team convened meetings with key stakeholders, including members of the Citizen Action Group, Youth Club, Women's Network, and Dalit Network. These interactions provided valuable insights into the progress and efforts of these groups within the community.

Feminist Dalit Organization - FEDO, Nepal in partnership with Plan International Nepal and supported by European Union in Nepal has organized 3 days 'Regional Networking Conference with CSOs from 21st September, 2023 till 23rd September, 2023. The inauguration session was successfully concluded in the presence of the Deputy Speaker, House of Parliament Hon. Indira Ranamagar. The conference included different representatives of Government, various commissions, CSOs, stakeholders, and participants from countries like Bangladesh and Thailand.
Following the inauguration ceremony, a panel discussion was held with Archana Thapa, Ph.D. - Writer and Activist, Bhumika Shrestha- LGBTQI Activist, Santosh Pariyar- Youth Parliamentarian, Kedar Khadka - CSO Activist along with the moderation of Narendra khatiwada.

Plan International Nepal Senior Technical Advisor Rakshya Paudyal and Founder President Durga Sob of FEDO participated at the UN General Assembly (UNGA78) and SDG Summit, happening in New York.

Plan International's overarching engagement goal is to: seek to secure recognition of, commitment to, and investment in adolescent girls' rights in the UNGA78 proceedings with the view of positioning the adolescent girl agenda within future frameworks on the road to post-2030.

According to the SWC, NGOs and INGOs approved programs worth 66 billion 600 million rupees in Nepal through the council in 2079/80. In the same year, 1,561 new NGOs were registered in the Council and 2,268 old ones re-registered. Until now, the number of non-governmental organizations registered in Nepal has reached 55,576 while the number of active INGOs is only 47.
