2 weeks after the earthquake and people still waiting for the tents, clothes, and food. Until now, our team has distributed relief materials to different villages of Jajarkot and Rukum. Yesterday, we went to Nalgad Municipality ward no. 3, traveling 2 hours offroad in a tractor, at around 9 30 PM. People were still waiting for us to get the mere tent. It melted me down, and i wish we could do more for our people.
Yes, the relief campaign is better than in 2015, but it is definitely not enough. Winter is coming, and we are listening to the news of people losing their life because of the cold, and their hope remains. Our team is working in the ground, and your support can make a huge difference.
