Khushi ("Joy" in Nepali) Nepal helps underprivileged and disadvantaged children in Kathmandu.
Khushi Nepal is a registered, non-profitable, non-governmental organization working for the welfare of underprivileged and vulnerable children in Nepal since Jan 2011. The organization primarily focuses its activities on outreach, education, socialization and income-generation activities to the family of the affected children. The activities of Khushi Nepal are centralized to bring positive changes in the life of children and encourage them to lead a better and inspired life.
Having suffered from Arthritis, one of our schooling children has been admitted to hospital past three days.
In spite of his sickness, we find it so positive to observe him sketching on hospital OPD book. Where the world is enjoying watch World Cup, our boy who is also the team captain of Khushi Nepal Football team, though not being able to watch the cup, finds some alternatives to make the best use of time.
We pray for the sooner recovery of his health !!!

Team won both the games today against Team and Team by 2-0 and 3-1 respectively.
In the first match, Santosh and Pavan scored one goal each, both assisted by the team captain Roshan Bhujel. The second match closed with two goals by Pavan and one goal by the team captain.
Nepal is the Pool-D with Kenya and Tajikistan. With two wins, Nepal is through to quarter-finals for tomorrow against Uzbekistan.
, Moscow is the third WorldCup of underprivileged children across the globe; this year being participated by 200 plus representing 24 teams from 24 nations.

HON PM OLI BIDS FAREWELL TO 'STREET CHILD WORLDCUP 2018' PLAYERS.
Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli bid farewell to the team, participating in STREET CHILD WORLD CUP 2018 (football) going to be held between May 9-18 at Moscow, Russia. Hon PM Oli hand over the National Flag to the Captain of the team, Mr. Roshan Bhujel in his residence at Baluwatar.
Mr. Keshab Kumar Shrestha (President) and Mr. Santosh Poudel (ED) were the invited guest along with three players participating from Khushi Nepal. The farewell program was observed by representatives from participating organization, donors and media.
Khushi Nepal has been providing direct or indirect schooling-hostelling support to underprivileged children.
Baisakh (April/May) is the beginning of academic year in Nepal, and there are many children on and off the street seeking aid for education. In aligning with 'National School Admission Campaign 2075', this beginning of the academic session we have already provided scholarships to 10 children-in-need, 3 of them appearing for Secondary Evaluation Examination (SEE) this year, and there is more to go we believe.
Your small action does matter. However small, join the campaign with the government. Buy books, contribute in admission or tuition fee or join any organization you are familiar with, for the collective effort. Share your stories with us !!!

Expression through arts by street children.
On the occasion of international child rights day, November 20,2017. The children from different organizations made the arts on the theme "Street and Beyond" and displayed three days at Sidhartha Art Gallery.
Today, in the presence of all the children. Formally, "Street and Beyond" book has lunched by government representative, organizational representative and youngest child of the program. Program was very entertaining, children's were not only good in arts they are good in songs and poem too.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 (𝗦𝗙𝗪𝗙) is an informal desk to share the experiences of street field workers on and off the street. It is a platform for street field workers to share the identified issues and discover a point of resolution through exchange of the resources.

Friendly Futsal Match: Khushi Nepal vs Growbydata Community
A friendly futsal match between Khushi Nepal team and Growbydata Community team was organized on 21st of January 2017, in continuation to the 'Empowerment of Kids through Sports' program. Recently, 3 kids of Khushi Nepal team have qualified for 7-man squad Street Children WorldCup 2018, going to be held in Russia. Khushi Nepal won the match to Growbydata by 5-4 goal scores.

KHUSHI CHILDREN selected for STREET CHILD WORLDCUP 2018
3 out of 5 children from Khushi Nepal in the closed camp training are selected for 'Road to Worldcup 2018' going to be held in Russia next year. Only 9 children out of 24 in the closed camp qualified for the Worldcup.
24 countries will be participating in this 7-squad football tournament. Nepal is participating for the first time under the initiation of Shelter Ashray Nepal.

School Handover Program at Gorkha
Khushi Nepal handed over two-fully RCC classrooms for Namruk Devi School, a lower secondary public School at Gankhu-1, Gorkha to the District Resource Person, Mr. Biswonath Wagle.
The earthquake in 2015 had demolished all the buildings of the school. And, thereafter the students of the school were studying in a Temporary Learning Center that leaked rain and was very hot during the summer months.
In addition to this, Khushi Nepal handed over a computer set to the principal, Mr. Krishna Pokharel and sports equipment to student's club.
This project was financially supported by Boston Tamu Samaaj (US) and the project was initiated on 18 June 2016.

Mr. Keshab Kumar Shrestha was elected as the new president for Khushi Nepal following its seventh annual general meeting (AGM) on 22nd October, 2016.
Mr. Shrestha had been serving in this organization as founder member and had worked as the vice-president in the previous board.
