Baby Carmen, 6 days new ❤
What an adorable little squish! When his lovely mama told me he was a breech baby, I knew he was going to thrive in all the squishy poses 😍

It's funny how as a newborn photographer, I can always see how they were "folded" in your uterus. I can see where their hands were most time. Why? Because they do the same things on the outside!

You might notice that when you come to the studio, I will observe your baby as I change them into studio outfits or get them ready for posing. I will ask you questions about your baby along the way, just to make sure some cues and tips I see the baby giving me are correct. You are not probably wondering why is this important to me?

As a newborn photographer, my number one priority si that your baby is safe and that you are both feeling comfortable. Some babies will thrive in simple poses, some will do their best in more squishy poses and some will only want to be nice and cozy in the swadle. And that is ok! As I am observing your baby, and asking you questions, I am collecting informations that will help me react and pose your baby safely when I see some cues.

Example: when I see a baby that keeps pulling their arms back to their body, my first question to the parents will be: "How was your birth experience? Any complications?"

- If the answer is no: this will tell me that baby is probably not in deep sleep and wants to feel cozy (or I will factor in any other cues)

- If the answer is yes: I will move to the next pose, that will feel more comfortable for your baby. Why? During a difficult birth, the baby might have pulled a muscle or is feeling sore in their hands. This will tell me that the position is probably not comfortable for them.❤

Baby Ajooni, 3 months old 🥰

Little man Henley, with the most curious big eyes 🥰 - 12 days new

He said to me, that sleeping is not for babies, and made sure I captured plenty of portraits with his beautiful eyes. 🙃

When is the best time for a newborn session?

Baby Lucia came to see me at 4 weeks new ❤ How gorgeous is this little bundle of joy 🥰

While my recommended timeframe for your newborn session is between 7-14 days, I always say it's never too late to book in for your forever memories. Whether that is 7 days, 7 weeks, or 7 months, it's never too late 😊

What is the difference in weeks?
1-2 weeks new: Babies sleep the most and therefore it's the easiest time to capture those cute squishy naked portraits to capture all the baby's newborn features

3-6 weeks: Your baby is still considered as newborn, however, they might not sleep as deep as in early weeks, so posing them naked might be a bit more difficult (they wake up more frequently). You can expect fewer naked poses and more wrapped portraits instead.

7-10 weeks: This age is the most difficult to photograph, but not impossible. 😊 Depending on the baby, their weight & flexibility, we might be still able to capture them wrapped - sleeping or awake & capture them in more natural poses (on their back, tummy time..)

As there is some planning involved in order to make your newborn session a personalized experience, booking in advance is recommended ❤

Poor little Bubba had a bit of an upset tummy, so she had a hard time falling into a deep sleep, but we managed to get there and capture some beautiful portraits for her and her lovely parents. Sometimes patience is all you need when working with babies

One day you won't be so little anymore, and you will outgrow your daddy's arms. But when that day comes little one, you will have those beautiful memories that your parents captured for you ❤

Can't believe I haven't shared these yet! Baby Liam came to my studio at 9 days new with his older brother, sister, and lovely parents 🥰

I remember one dad asking me sometime in November, or December if I photograph a lot of babies with long hair. And I answered, no your little one is probably my 2nd or 3rd in my whole newborn career, and guess what, after that, I had a few lovely bundles with long hair! how funny is that!

Liam was one of them, this adorable little bunch slept through the whole session like a charm 🥰

What a gorgeous day capturing this little bundle of joy!
Millie's lovely parents are both connected to the art, so of course we had to incorporate a spray can into her session. And she cuddled it as she had known it for a long time. Be aware, future street artist in the making hehe 🥰

She showed me how much she loves having her portraits taken with a few middle fingers 😅, so funny aye! So many babies do that and I find it hilarious! haha. But she showered me with some smiles too 🥰

One thing I am certain, these will be memories she will carry with her through the life ❤

This adorable little bubba slept through the whole session as if she was born to model! She was the tiniest baby I have ever photographed 🥰

When her mama told me she had a daughter who shares my name, I was over the moon! I have never photographed little Eva before, so this felt really special to me.

Little Eva is 3 months old, and couldn't wait to come to the earthside so she surprised her family with the early visit. She showed me clearly that she is a little fighter from the get-go, but she's lucky I love challenges and my patience with babies is through the roof. 🥰

I can rather say, that your newborn session was emotional for everyone present, I had tears in my eyes watching your lovely mama adore you with her whole heart. She said as long as we get one family, one with open eyes and one sleepy one, her heart will be full, but you gave us so much more than any of us could have imagined.

I have met you when you were still in your mama's belly, and you have entered the world on the most special day, Christmas. You truly are a little Christmas miracle ❤

You were so little but so full of personality, you made me work for my money 🤓, but you didn't know that I don't give up when it comes to forever memories, so you gave up and went into deep sleep just as we were wrapping up, and we were able to capture some beautiful sleepy memories that I know you will cherish when you become a big man.

I am officially back from the holidays, and getting ready to edit a little Bubba from this gorgeous couple who became parents on Christmas day 🥰

Being pregnant for 40 weeks feels like an eternity and all you wish and dream for is your little one to be in your arms. And once he/she is here, the only thing that is left from the time that you spend growing him/her are the precious memories of your baby bump. 😊 Be honest! How many times you have looked at your phone after giving birth, wishing you had taken more photos of your pregnant belly?

Who's meeting their bubba in 2024, hands up! 😍

We made it! To the very last day of 2023.

This year has been very challenging for many of us. It has been my best and the worst year at the same time. At the beginning of the year, I was a step away from closing the business due to the impact it has left on my mental health, but then the universe made sure to send me the most beautiful people my way, who showed me that this was just a phase and not how my life it's going to be.

I have then decided it's time I go all in or out. I worked extremely hard to keep those dreams alive and captured so many beautiful stories, families, connections, and little bubbas along the way. While recovering I realized that I have found my purpose and that is my little business. My purpose is to make my lovely ladies feel beautiful in their own skin, to safely photograph all the little bubbas that come my way, and to capture as many family memories as I possibly can. Because those my lovelies, those are forever.

This year, I have also opened my very first photo studio, which I am so very proud off.

Right here, I want to thank you, all my beautiful ladies, mums, families who decided to choose me to capture your forever memories. Your trust and support means the world to me! Thank you for all the beautiful comments, reviews, referrals. Not a single thing is left unnoticed, I promise!

I also want to thank the most to my supporting partner, who is supporting me in good or bad, taking care of me during all the meltdowns, cooking dinner when I am too tired, and just being here helping me build this dream. Thank you for being my assistant, IT person, therapist, and best friend. I love you ❤ I see everything you do for me, and I appreciate you heaps!

Her beautiful parents wanted to capture their little girl with a bunny theme because she was born in the Chinese year of the rabbit. I am all about the teddy theme, but I had absolutely nothing in a bunny theme in my studio. Thank god for the amazing Lauren from who made herself available at the very last minute to help me create magic for this beautiful family.

Little Kabir, 9 days new
This little cutie hardly woke up during his newborn session and was an absolute dream to photograph. 😍

Aaliyah, 12 days new baby girl with so many smiley portraits, that I would need absolutely more than a hand to count them 😍 She blessed us with cheeky smiles and her beautiful personality (Yes yes even at this young you can recognize their personalities)

A little sun as their parents call her, definitely brightened our day and warmed all of our hearts. When she would start crying her daddy would sing her a song and she would dive back to sleep.

Such a precious newborn session to be a part of, I love love love when I see families so in love with their bubbas 🥰

And just like that, it's Christmas. I wish you the holidays full of joy, and millions of cuddles from your loved ones ❤ Merry Christmas, from my family to yours ❤

I will be away until 2.1.2024 to recharge my batteries and take some much-needed rest. In that time, I will only be responding to urgent messages (sorry!)

Do you know what makes your portraits even more magical? Touch. I have one rule, and that is that every hand out there, must hold someone, touch someone. It's how the energy flows and we get those beautiful, warm portraits, where you can feel the love and connection. 🥰

Little To'a made us work for these beautiful portraits, but to tell the truth, every single minute is payed off, when I see the love we captured.

As we are getting closer to the new beginning, the year 2024, we are all thinking about the new year's resolutions. My goal is to print more memories, and to inspire more families to proudly show the family they created with love in their homes❤️
