My older brother Danny passed away today 3 years ago and I miss him dearly. I said that he was a hero for me and all heroes have superpowers. Danny had three; 1. His cheekiness, 2. His strong determined will 3. His laughter.
We grew up initially in Ponsonby and part of that pacific migration story of our parents and then out to west Auckland, home of the pioneers. Gone from our homes but forever in our hearts. Love you my big brother

We strongly condemn today's deadly rocket attacks on, and terrorist infiltration into, Israel from Gaza.

Under the UN and the Kyoto Agreement, in 2015, we signed the Paris Accord, which is around the subject of climate.

They had what’s called SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) which started at 50, are now up to 145 and they just keep getting bigger. It is made to make countries like us (New Zealand) feel bad about our contribution around climate change, around carbon emissions.

But here's the truth that we need to tell the nation and the rest of the world:
Our global carbon emissions are 0.17% - very minimal.
We have 80% renewable energy. We've got thermo, we've got hydro, we've got wind and solar.

That's one of the highest in the OECD world. But somehow the ideology is that we've got to get to zero carbon emissions. Can I say this to you? There is no such thing as zero carbon emissions.
