Auckland Show Jumping Awards

There was some fantastic help at Show Jumping Auckland this weekend. I saw Tara Sullivan on R2 gate for hours encouraging everyone. Who did you see being awesome & helping make our sport better?

We hope to be jumping on the grass next weekend 🙏🤞BUT if cyclone Gabrielle delivers as predicted we do have Plan B - Brookby’s lovely all weather arena with metal parking area. If we move location it’s a lot of work and we would love all rider to help out over the weekend 🙏🙏. We will do our very best not to cancel!!

Show your love for our sport by keeping an eye out where you could lend a hand! It might be picking up a rail, holding someone’s horse while they walk a course, or helping out on a gate.
Many hands make light work and keeps it fun for us all 🤩

Hello again everyone
I am once again on the look out for gate keepers for this years show now that entries are open! North island champs of course so we are wanting to put on the BEST show we possibly can for the benefit of all of our riders, volunteers and sponsors!

We are in the thick of final planning and one job left to be complete is the schedule for gate keepers for the show. I am looking to fill spots for gate keepers for rings two and three across the three days. I am trying to keep the slots to roughly 2/3 hrs tops so no one gets stuck there all day! Do I have any takers 😁🥰 🙏🏻 if so please private message me what you could
Do (either am, middle or pm and your ring preference). If you are a local rider, or parent of a rider, we would really strongly encourage you to get involved, not only for the benefit of all involved but pitching in is actually quite rewarding and we try to make it lots of fun and will feed and water you well 🤩
Also a heads up entries have opened and are filling quickly - enter ASAP to avoid disappointment!

FYI ring two is likely to have huge entries, so I would probably prefer people who have done the job before, can work in pairs and are confident at directing people around 🥰
