Today we celebrate the 150th birthday of Mahātmā Gandhi.

Why is Tidy Kiwi celebrating you may ask? Because it also marks the culmination of a 5 year litter campaign across India - Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. (roughly translated as "Neat and tidy India mission"). Sound familiar?

Congratulations for exceeding the goals of building 100 million public toilets across the country, reducing litter and plastic bag use. Fabulous effort. The Mahātmā would be very proud!
