If you’re concerned about how much space a Christmas Eve box will take up do what I do and use it to store your most precious Xmas decorations! Nice and snug in their wooden box there is no chance of them getting damage in storage.

As many of you know I like to create a Christmas decoration each season depicting a big thing that has happened in the world or Aotearoa that year. I do this because i love decorating my tree and looking back at all these things having a little nostalgic trip down memory lane and I’m sure others do also.



This year I’d like to include a decoration acknowledging the momentous achievement of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 year reign and sad passing. But.. I want to be conscious that I am not “cashing in”.



What are your thoughts on it? Do you view it the same way I do, a momento of a moment in history?
