I think that all the gorgeous photos I've been sharing speak for themselves, but it seems only right to round out a week of gratitude with an official thank you post for Dani .

We expected to love the images (and we do!). What we didn't expect was that those quiet moments of being photographed together would actually be one of our favourite parts of the whole experience.

A perfectly beautiful autumn day, expertly captured. We cannot WAIT to see the rest of the gallery in a few weeks. 😍😍

As I round out a week of wedding shoutouts, I also want to acknowledge the nearly two years of work that I put into our special day - 'cus I made literally everrrrrything.

Hand-dyed book pages and sheet music fashioned into hundreds (thousands?) of flowers, sanded and painted guitars that became both decor and guestbook, books converted into centrepieces, a record player-turned-cake-stand, old speakers and typewriters gutted and turned into vases for yet more paper flowers.

Every single bit of design, every piece of stationary, a large-scale custom crossword for our cocktail hour, individualised gig ticket place cards with QR codes linked to our playlists. Not to mention 8 full hours of heavily curated music, arrangement and performance of a mini-set with our wedding party band and a full studio premix of our dance floor tracks.

Twenty months of evenings and weekends.

I'm going to need some new hobbies...

Just a quick note to say I haven't forgotten about you. ❤️ My adventures in Japan with my own fiancé have been immense, and are now winding down (sadface).

How dreamy is this intimate forest setup for today's ceremony in rural Canterbury? 😍

One of the things I've so often heard (and sometimes witnessed first-hand) is that someone's been to a gorgeous wedding ceremony, but the sound just wasn't up to scratch.

When I became a celebrant after a lot of years of running gig venues and mixing bands, I knew it was really important to me to have a good, professional PA system for my couples.
