Jess & Gareth really did nail their autumn wedding day... Governors Bay was the perfect location, for their late afternoon nuptials and Jess' choice of dress still blows me away! Absolutely stunning... ❤

We photographed Jess' sisters wedding a decade or so ago, so it was soooo nice for Doug to be able to photograph Jess and Gareth's wedding too!

A Fresh 48 Session with the much anticipated, ISABELLA...

This was one of the most special sessions ever, Mandy Caldwell Photography and I have a couple of things in common... both photographers, both have 3 boys ... and both welcomed a little girl for number four. Both with a similar name...

Isabella, whom they call Bella, is almost a year old.... In early July 2023... I was welcomed into the most beautiful atmosphere where they were staring face to face with their precious girl, as I watched 3 big brothers, with faces beaming bright with joy to meet their little sister...

I love this session so much! And this family! And I hope you enjoy these precious moments, the first time they were altogether as a family of 6! What an honour to capture such a moment as this!!

The Burrows Family and I have been on a beautiful journey of capturing all the stages of their lives together since their engagement, on their beautiful wedding day, first pregnancy and as their gorgeous girls have come along! ... I adore this family and love that there is a history in images... I may have to dig a few from each session out... For now... I just love the energy, joy and passion of their beautiful girls... running around on their home turf! ... So good!!

Dreaming of some dryer, warmer, bare arm and bare feet days... But for now, the fire is pretty nice too!! ... Reflecting on this beautiful shoot in their backyard of their home in March!

What a blessing to go for round 3 for an autumn family photo session with this absolutely wonderful and positively infectious family.

First meeting them when, wee baby Blake was just a little nugget growing rapidly inside... and now a gorgeous wee toddler, with Beau & Leo paving the way for a life full of fun...

It blesses me so much to see a family year after year and their growth and also the relationship we build seeing each other time and time again! .... Thank you for putting your trust in me ... it is such a joy to create family photos for you both and your 3 gorgeous boys!

In such a short time, their worlds will change for the better... as they embrace the most cherished wee being they've been waiting on... 38 weeks and Lauren is more beautiful than ever. These two are really special and we can't wait to meet their little one soon... This Autumn Dates from May 2nd to May 12th at a 2 different locations this year...
Sessions are 15 minutes or 30-40 minutes long nearing sunset.
With the choice of 5, 25 images or the whole gallery.
I absolutely love it when people choose the whole gallery, it gives great oppurtunity for greater creativity and several spots at the chosen locations this year. ...

And this session with the Walker Family last week, is getting me excited for more wonderful autumn sessions!!

This shoot.... Thiiiiiiiis shoot... And these people... Saturday night in the Port Hills (fortunately a teeny tiny bit warmer than the previous night) ... with April & Liam's natural, bubbly love, celebrating their engagement. The gift of incredibly soft light, beautiful scenery and whispy clouds that look like the tail of a fantail! ... What more could you want!!
