I love setting up the space for purpose sessions. It always boosts the mind and puts me into the zone, I am then able to give 100% in that moment and be fully present without distraction to that client or family. Sessions are powerful and often can stick with a person, so I always make sure (do my best) that everything is safe, comfortable to their likes or needs and clear of distractions. We have been busy working away on reflecting on the previous year with our clients. Why??? Because this allows clients to gain insights into their accomplishments, challenges, and areas for growth. It provides a foundation for setting meaningful and achievable goals for the upcoming year. By understanding what worked well and what didn't, clients can make more informed decisions when setting their goals and create a plan to address any obstacles they may face. Additionally, reflecting on the past year can help clients celebrate their successes and be proud of personal growth. It also allows clients to identify areas where there wasn't growth or where blocks are in pathways and why, but also where they may need to change direction, create boundaries, seek support or other agencies referrals for specific support, or what we can work on in our sessions or make changes in order to reach their goals.
