Videos by Otago Excursion Train Trust in Dunedin. Otago Excursion Train Trust established in 1978 to foster an interest in railway excursions in the Otago region and beyond.
This time last week we were lucky enough to have three of our executive members down at the Federation of Rail Organisations of New Zealand - FRONZ conference in Invercargill (Jamie as our delegate, and Grant and Courtney with the FRONZ executive). There were sessions covering things from alternative fuels for locos to rail crossing safety, and we visited our host railway Waimea Plains Railway, Mandeville and Rogers K92 Locomotive, the Lumsden Heritage Trust and the Kingston Flyer.
