Let’s get some votes for the incredible Ash Jarden.
🏅 Cobb & Co. OCR VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH 🏅
VOTE below using the corresponding emoji ⬇️ Voting closes at 12 midday, Thursday 27th of April.
Briar Mackenzie - Eastern RFC 🏉
“Briar Mackenzie from Eastern Junior Rugby club has been the secretary for the past 5 years, goes above and beyond her role to ensure grants are sourced, kids are registered, all the behind the scenes work is done to ensure the smooth running of the club! A well deserved recipient”
Kay Merrett - Southern Region 🏉
“I would like to nominate Kay Merrett, Kay is an avid supporter of the game, following all her children over the years, Kay has photographed and made videos for the teams they have been in. Kay does profiles of the players and she uploads them to the pages. This year Kay offered her services to profile all the Southern Region Teams and provide a profile video for every player of every club. She has spent hours editing these and providing Our Francis Parker with the pics for his write ups. Kay is a major part of the Clutha Club page and you will see her team profiles weekly, who they play, photos of the game and video footage. Kay is a well deserving Volunteer of the month.”
Ash Jarden - Pirates RFC 🏉
"Ash Jarden is an incredibly valuable part of both the Pirates Junior Rugby Club and the Mero Junior Rugby Committee. She is a driving force behind Pirates and has a personal passion to get more girls playing rugby, including her own daughters. She can often be seen with a whistle in hand on a Saturday morning and if not in the middle she will be on the sideline cheering on the kids. Ash has been a member of the Metro Junior Committee for several years, including the Leadership Group, and last year took on the massive job of preparing the draw for the 9 different grades of Junior Rugby. Nothing is a problem, and she takes on each new task with a smile on her face."
Derek Shaw - Central Otago Referee 🏉
"Derek is one of our warriors of the central Otago community. Based in Alexandra he continues to be one of the most valuable Referees that ORRA has to offer. Derek can be frequently seen Refereeing schools games then backing up to run touch for a Premier fixture. It’s not often he turns down an opportunity to get out in the middle and help make our games happen! A recipient of last year’s ‘ORRA way’ golden whistle, Derek displays some of the best qualities ORRA has to offer as a volunteer."
Please vote for our Club Captain Ashleigh Jarden! She is the most outstanding member of our club and attribute to junior rugby! Please vote :)
