Finished and ready to race. we’ll still needs a paint job in falcon loose yellow n blue but it’s ok for now

And here we are D83 just needs side bars put on and it’s done. I’m struggling to find interest in it compared to speedway. My poor old xe falcon got put in the paddock after a few beers last week and I was fizzing to drive a car again, although I don’t have time to race this coming season a grass kart is better than nothing but I’ve put a few hours into the bf seam welding hopefully have a good car one day 🤙 don’t want to rush it

Nearly 1000 followers who would of believed I started off at 18 in the probably most uncompetitive production saloon ever that I hid from my parents when I got it with borrowed race gear and borrowed trailer that didn’t really fit a car on it getting towed by a old Toyota hilux that was first gear up hills hauling the old whale

With the Streetstock sold I’m focusing on my young family and planning on having a season off while I build this new car properly. But we will miss racing so been building a grass kart in the garage once kids are in bed. Wonder how long this will last 🤣

The old eb done me so well reliable as but never done that too a diff before haha broke axle and chewed splines out, doesn’t look like they were running strait either still managed to finish the race on 2 flat left tyres and broken right axle

Subaru derby car dead, put a couple of good hits in on spun out cars shearing off cam pulleys 😂 awd goes good, off to be turned into baked bean cans. Won 250$ on best presented car. Not bad for the 70$ it
All up owed me including paint, how good getting more $ back than the $ spent in speedway lol

Our season in the Streetstock is done at this stage just after started having good luck finishing races 🤣🤣 baby number 3 is due in 6 days so taking a break til not sure when.

This time of the year again derby in 2 weeks, wife’s letting me away with one race hahaha

Finished 6/6 races over the weekend wtf 🤣 un heard of. With next to no damage. Friday night got 3rd in best pairs with 417D Clint Gillies. Good weekend

Minimal damage last meeting think I even finished 3/3 races 🤣 rained out first night but had a great 2nd night. Car loaded and ready for tomorrow after work and Saturday support grade for nz super Saloon title

Handled about as bad as it looked, few changes and hopefully handles like I managed to get my old production too in the end

Update: spent last few days fixing a few things on trailer winch works again and gave it a coat of paint along with a few lights should stand out now 🤣. Car only needs coupe minor things sorted after last meeting new diff hat and change the front struts to try stiffen it up

Good night out bloody good to be back racing again first race car cut out and wouldn’t start but would go with a push start and only would run with some jandle but backfiring and s**t turns out it had no spark which was a crook coil lead so don’t know how that works lol, 2nd race the old Eb seemed to keep up with the fast stuff okay 👌

Our 2nd meeting today, figured out how to use the sunshade today, few hours later made a good shelter. Rain won for the day think that’s it for us until next year

Opening night managed to finish 2/3 races 1st race went well 2nd race got collected bending the r/f hub into strut and rim aswell as knocking a plug lead off but managed to finish. fixed it for race 3 but after first corner the hole r/h suspension and subframe decided to call it a night along with another rim and abit of panel damage. with having used up all my spares (who would of imagined not having Eb stuff 🤣) and then broke them again, work and family commitments we missed 2nd meet but have since brought some parts cars and should be out next meeting

Our season and my time in the Panelvan is now finished. Up most of the night throwing a runner in it to get it out today but can’t get it to rev without backfiring out the carb, changed near everything no vacuum leaks and now crapped starter motor, idle hunting again and pi***ng fuel out everywhere we decided to flag it. Awesome fun in the 6 meetings I done. Panelvan is pending sold once I get the motor back from shop and put it in and time to start build something newer and get away from everything on the cheap like my last 6 cars I’ve had

Massive dint in sump damaged oil pick up
Must of hit a bumper corner or something
New car will have a bloody sump guard lol

Update: got it running enough for Rodney to pop out for a visit 🤣

Rained out today but in a way good.
Discovered a bent steering arm and bottom arm trying to get into the shed steering jammed and must of been too much lock on the other side and blowing a brake hose. Glad I didn’t make it to turn one 😅
