Join Science of Sound NZ and SiC Entertainment at the Hill Stage for 31 hours of all things psychedelic and bass.
With over 30 acts, performers and production crew we are excited to deliver a colourful dreamlike zone to excite all your senses.

SOS & SiCE have carefully curated the production of their own sound, lighting and visual décor to ensure quality production from start to finish.

What on the menu?

SOUND:
Across the aural journey you will hear an eclectic range of styles from DNB, Bass Music, Jungle, Garage, Bass House and Dub to Tribal Prog, Future Prog, Full On, Forest and Dark Psy.
All played out on NZ’s newest Opus rig, providing some heavy hitting premium clarity.

DECOR:
Custom made shade sail ordered in from distant shores to brighten up the vibes. Along with some spectacular art and lighting installations designed by some of our friends and favourite local artists.

LIGHTING:
As the evening descends you will be treated with a custom lighting visual experience all controlled live with the help of some of our best artistic wizards.

You’re cordially invited to partake in this experience with us to welcome in the new year of 2023. Where you will experience the uplifting vibes of smiling faces and captivating creations that our friends at SOS and SiCE are so well known for.

💥 Meet our guest for this Friday - DJ Mutana Kataro 💥

Here's a bit about him!

Originally from Mexico and signed to Ovnimoon Records, Mutana Kataro specialises in a high energy mix of psytrance and forest. Victor Quintero aka Mutana Kataro started playing music at the age of nine when he first picked up the guitar. He went on in his teens to form a punk band, but it wasn’t until his early twenties that he went to his first rave party in the mountains of Mexico. This was where he had his first psychedelic experience under the guidance of Dj’s like X-Dream. Inspiring him later he became a sound curator playing parties in Canada, Panama, Chile, Argentina and mostly in his home country New Zealand. Bringing High energy to all of his sets Mutana Kataro will be sure to keep you moving all night long.

This will not be a set to miss, so make sure to clear your calendar for the weekend!
