Kia Toa Tigers
proud to be sponsored by Joe's Garage 2019
Today was the first time in 30 years there was a junior Otago rugby league club competition in Dunedin 🏉
Today the Kia Toa Tigers junior rugby league team competed in round 1 of the 4 round tournament beating Pirates Roosters 52 - 16.
Our under 8s Tigers sported their new strip, thanks to Tamariki Together 👦🏽🧒🏼👧🏾
It was a great day of rugby league with 26 teams competing in the tournament. The competition is sponsored by Frosty J Ice Cream Truck , Fros-Tee's Mini Golf and Bacon Buttie Station. We also had Te Waahi Taraka Kai food truck there providing delicious food for the competition 🍲
The team will be playing again next week at Bayfeild Park 10am. Come down and support the club and competition 🫡
Note* that in 1998-99 there was a very successful midweek primary, intermediate and secondary school competitions.

Something special for the development of our young rugby league players is coming to Dunedin which I’m excited to be a part of.
We are looking for expression of interest, and the opportunity to come meet the leaders of the
NZ Warriors.
Please message me if you’re interested.
