114 teams now on the list for the 2024 Central Machine Hire Otago Rally, of which 24 are international! We hoped for 100 by the end of 2023, but now114 teams have already indicated their intention to enter, here's the updated list. A big thank you to all the competitors, it makes the work in organising the event so worthwhile. It's looking like it will be a great year. Still to see many of the NZRC regulars who tend to hold back registering interest until formal entries come out in February, and of course some of those who register interest may not make it, but this is as strong an interest as we've ever had. 👀 When Mikko met Mikko…we were delighted to introduce 15-time World Rally winner Mikko Hirvonen with aspiring local Dunedin rally star Mikko Johnston last month. Named after Hirvonen, young Mikko even got a ride along with his idol during this year’s media event - an opportunity he described as "the ride of his life". 1News was there for the action.
