2021 Kartsport New Zealand Championships

it has ben a great weekend with Jack McGrath in the new Alluminios chassis and Callissa in the Birel Art DD2, Jack qualifying 6th and making it the hard road to end up in P2 on the final, Callissa in the DD2 drove Awsome to be the first weekend in the kart and only to be 1 second off the front runners is great a great start, unfortunately a punt in the first race up on the back of the kart to bend the axle and force her neck brace to come loose and fall off, she battled on and she pulled in early on the pre final with pain in her head and neck. lets hope the kids will be well rested and ready for a big weekend for the nationals this weekend

A late posting from the recent southern series in Invercargill and Dunedin, Thanks again Lloyd for your time and great photos, well done to all of the podium getters and the competitors that had to change how they run with the new covid 2 restrictions on the day

we will see Mason Dunphy competing in his new Praga chassis at the nationals in Christchurch as well.

Today’s podium results, a great weekend racing, a big thanks to everyone that helped to make the meeting possible with the overnight restrictions change. There was some great results with a number of drivers getting their teir 1 rating and eligible to enter the 2021 nationals in Christchurch at Easter.
A big congratulations to Callissa who finished 4th in open with a modified Rotax max 125 and Jack McGrath who finished 3rd in Cadet ROK on count back. And to all my other customers who finished on the podium and more so the others that did not get in the podium, all of you made this meeting possible.

Hi All just a reminder to all of the southern series competitors to read rule L9 engine sealing and have all of the correct bolts and nuts in place as all engines will be sealed for this meeting

Kartsport Dunedin club championship podium placers, a big thanks to all the competitors that participated. It was a great meeting with some really close racing and a lot of new PB’s set with a fast track sone more close racing with the southern series in 2 weeks time.
