I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Bali on Thursday for 9 days.
I feel super grateful and excited to experience yoga, their culture, and all that Bali has to offer.
I'm going to take the opportunity also to digital detox so I'll be absent on here during that time.
I wish you all a good fortnight as we head further into Spring ⚘️🌷🌞❤️🌈
My heart is full and my soul is singing with joy after a beautiful weekend in Napier at the Hawkes Bay Yoga Festival.
I got to travel and stay with 2 beautiful souls. Every session was perfect for what I needed at that moment.
I connected with strangers who didn't feel like strangers. We'd met before on a soul level.
I received.
I received.
I received.
It was the perfect recovery after being unwell.
I feel so immensely grateful.
❤️
What are you grateful for today? ✨️
What better way to start the yoga festival weekend than watching the sunrise and building a stone tower!
Feeling incredibly grateful to be here ❤️✨️
I have been silent on here as I've had bronchitis for 2 weeks and very unwell.
It made me realise and feel incredibly grateful that I am usually healthy, fit and well, and not great at being sick!
It also made me grateful that I yoga breath and I know this helped me when my upper lungs were filled with mucus and I 'crackled' everytime breathed.
I also felt guilty and bad for letting down my yoga students by having to cancel classes, despite it being beyond my control.
Everyone has been so kind with their well wishes and easing the guilt
It's been a time to notice my self talk and what serves me and what doesn't.
Difficult times can always have a silver lining ✨️
I am pleased to be back to feeling myself, able to teach, and do my usual daily activities!
I wish you all a beautiful day. If you are feeling unwell, be kind to yourself and I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️
It was so still early this morning in Raglan. The sea was like a lake with a beautiful reflection.
So grateful for the stillness and beauty ✨️❤️
Love this ❤️
I feel incredibly grateful to have had a 2 week holiday overseas. I took this opportunity to disconnect - hence nothing from me for a while!
It was amazing to be in the moment in a warm climate with swimming and snorkelling every day. I got to admire the beauty of nature and see some beautiful sea animals - turtles, black tip reef sharks, sting rays, eagle rays, manta rays, tropical fish to name a few.
It was wonderful family time and great memories were created.
There was a resident Indian yoga teacher who guided us through gentle breath-focused yoga on the deck by the pool just after sunrise, and during sunset. As I lay down in Savasana at the end of my first class and looked up at the blue sky, the frangipani and palm trees, listening to the waves crashing nearby, and watching a fruit bat fly overhead, I felt immense gratitude and peace to be in that moment.
I feel relaxed and refreshed and ready for Term 3 yoga which starts next week!
Here are a few pics...❤️
Term 3 starts 22nd July!
Only one spot left in each of the Tuesday 1:30-2:30pm & Wednesday 11-12pm classes.
Message to save your spot 💜
Nature can be unexpected as well as beautiful....I'm pretty sure it's only the first month of Winter but these daffodils would disagree! 💖
Go outside and look at the moon 💖
The beauty of the beach in the weekend.....💖
What beauty are you grateful for today?
As I climbed the stairs today I noticed the debris on the stairs, and then a tree blocking the path.
What flowed through was inspiration on how this is reminiscent of stuck emotions or unhealthy mental patterns that may 'block' our destined path.
It may seem that the most obvious solution is to "step over, around, under, or through the obstacle", whether it is smaller debris or a larger 'tree'. But if we do that, are we simply avoiding the 'block'? Would it not be better to 'sweep away' the smaller debris or 'cut down and remove' the 'tree' by 'cutting the branches one at a time' so it no longer blocks our path.
These thoughts are merely to create curiosity about the best way for you to clear any 'blockages' in your life so you are able to live as your truest Self.
❤️
Beauty from the Universe 💖
Goodness can come from what may at first appear not so 'good'.
We need the rain to see rainbows 🌈
Thank you to the beautiful souls who joined me this afternoon for Replenish & Renew. I hope you feel amazing as you continue your evening 💖
I forgot to take a before shot so it's a little disheveled!
The sun is streaming in and breakfast looks great! Come along and support a great cause

As a sufferer of carpel tunnel I have to be careful with my wrists when I practice yoga, and as a yoga teacher I want to ensure the wrists of my students are protected. This is great information for when weight is on our hands, such as in dog pose, cat/cow, reverse dog, plank, handstand.
😊
Come along to check out all the stalls, have brekkie, and support a great cause 🩷
No view this morning but just as pretty. The cloud/fog looks almost like the ocean 💖
