Hello Fluency English Waikato students - For Week 6
I hope the weekend is going well for you so far. Good on you for keeping the rules and helping to keep us all safe.
We'll have a Zoom class on Tuesday, and probably on Wednesday as well.
I'll send the links on Monday morning.
In the mean time, would you please explore the website I'm creating:
www.fluencyenglishwaikato.com
You'll notice that under Speaking there's a drop-down menu for pronunciation. You'll see audio files for practising sounds.
For homework would you please preview and practise speaking the poem, Dreams, which is number 15 in the booklet, by Langston Hughs.
Also, preview the vocabulary, which will be 3a - from 'join' to 'nature', the first two columns on p.3 - for FEW 1 on Tuesday, and 8a - from 'hammer to liquid' on p.8 on Wednesday for FEW II.
I'm having difficulty communicating from Xtra to Naver, sorry, to two students who have naver accounts. I'm putting this on our page as well.
'See' you on Tuesday on Zoom.
Kind wishes
Richard
