ANOTHER LABOUR OF LOVE 🩷💚

It takes a lot of hours and patience doing cakes like this, another labour of love. This was done for one of my amazing regular customers. She gave me free design which is a cake decoraters dream. So, needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this.......and there were A LOT of minutes lol.

Running your own business is crazy. I only work part time and that is hectic enough!!! So many hidden jobs and costs.
I'm not making million's. But I have other things, like time with my son, which is worth million's to me.
From 'I love your cakes' to 'I 'm not paying that much for cake!!'.
From 'You're so reasonably priced' to 'Isn't it just eggs and flour and sugar?!'.
Some days are hard, some days are amazing!
All of this combined with being a single mama, it's tough.
Today I have taken a beat. A minute. A spot for myself. Even though I am sitting here doing work 🤦😂, I am also watching the people around me, enjoying my coffee and taking in the different atmosphere.
I am blessed to have the life that I lead. I am blessed to have a little boy as wonderful as Oscar. I am grateful.
So enjoy your day and tell yourself one thing you are grateful for 🩷 It is good for your soul

It takes a lot of hours and patience doing cakes like this. Fondant screws, screwdriver, bricks and trowel. I have so much fun creating cakes like this. Not the biggest cake, however the cost is in the creativity 😉
