A big night tonight as I shoot the Fraser high school ball assisted by my partner Vicki.
Batteries are charging and memory cards are being formatted. It’s also the first outing for my new Nikon Z6ii’s. It’s all very exciting.
I’ll post a few preview shots tomorrow.
An image from Wednesday evenings field trip with my Photography class. Nice eastern European cold war vibe going on.
A panorama taken during a recent weekend away in Rotorua. It was my first visit to the Waimangu volcanic valley. If you haven't been been, I highly recommend a visit.

A quick trip out to Raglan with Ange this evening. Fish and chips on the wharf then to Wainui reserve to capture the sunset. Perfect end to a stressful day.
I've spent the week in the South Island, enjoying the scenery and some good southern hospitality, Here are a few photos taken during the week. Big shout out to you Mainlanders, especially Paul from Chasing Nature photography. I'll be back !!!
Spotted an equestrian event happening just down the road. I grabbed my camera and thought I would try shooting a few horses for a new experience. Its trickier than it looks.
Behind the scenes at Hamilton gardens. Great shot taken by Jess’ son, Turtle boy.
Very intense. 🤣 I can shoot all day at a wedding and not fill a 64gb memory card. Tonight I filled a card in 90 minutes.
All set up and ready to shoot at the Fraser High ball tonight. This should be lots of fun 😊
Shooting with Vannessa Savage-Taranaki - Mrs Waikato 2023 Candidate today. No rest for the wicked.
A quick preview from todays shoot with Jess Christensen- Ms Waikato Candidate 2023. The Hamilton gardens were literally heaving with people so we had to be patient and time these to perfection. Big ups to Jess for doing an incredible job under the conditions and also to her partner Phill who was railroaded in to being my lighting assistant.
A first for me today. A model on a Harley Davidson in a tattoo studio. It was great fun.
Beautiful Olivia brightened up a dull grey rainy day in Hamilton. Here's a first look at what we got up to.
Never let a bit of rain interfere with a shoot. I’m on my way to meet with Olivia for some wet weather photography. I’m just a little bit excited 😆
A bit of street portraiture tonight with my students. Using available light of a street lamp. Thanks to Rebekah for posing for us.
I’m in Oamaru tonight. What a great little town !!
I miss summer and we haven’t even had winter yet. Here’s a small beach themed reel because they’re too good not to share and we need a bit of sunshine to brighten this full day.
Guess who went to the beach for Easter and left his camera behind? So I have to rely on my iPhone for a few days.
This flower was a popular stop for the bees this afternoon.
Big shout out to my newest top fan💎
