I've had the pleasure of some very entertaining visits over the last month, but this wee guy tops it off by poking his nose into the top of my bag, then running off to play with my demo! 🤣

I wrote this quote years ago and I believe it’s a ‘ goodie’…
Our state creates our experience…
Our ability to ‘tune’ into HOW we feel in our body … what we are thinking … how we are feeling …
Our feelings are our navigation system ….
Try imagining what you want …
Feeling the feeling of having it ..
And keep feeling ….
And keep feeling …..
And watch your REAL-ity change ♥️♥️♥️
I love the feedback ♥️
Absolute connection 💕
My very dear friend Christine Single and Piri facilitate these unique parent connections….
Highly RECOMMEND!!!! Parents in Hawkes Bay take a look ♥️♥️♥️

Enabling Breastfeeding: Making a difference for working parents
Introducing the Hawke’s Bay Breastfeeding Group:
The Hawke’s Bay Breastfeeding Group brings health and community organisations together with the wider community, to support breastfeeding māmā.
A public health nurse established the group 25 years ago because she wanted to better support new mothers. It’s evolved over time and is now facilitated by Te Whatu Ora Well Child Health Promoter Michele Grant.
Its members include maternity staff; Tuai Kōpu; safe sleep and smokefree advocates; kaupapa Māori providers; iwi organisation Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga and community groups such Le Leche League and Central Hawke’s Bay Pregnancy and Parenting.
“Each of these members play an important role in supporting māmā and whānau on their breastfeeding journey and represent the communities of Hawke’s Bay,” Michele says.
“By having a regular kōrero, we have a good understanding of the need in the community and together we can address that, by supporting an extra drop-in breastfeeding clinic or providing advice to the relevant people.”
The group acknowledges that some women are unable to breastfeed, so also supports healthy infant feeding practices. During the 2016 Havelock North campylobacter outbreak and following Cyclone Gabrielle the group distributed health information so māmā could prepare safe formula.
Michele says workforce development is also vital to ensure the kaupapa behind the group carries on.
“Te Whatu Ora Breastfeeding Advisor Liz Banks is a key part of the group and is mentoring some of our younger members who want to become lactation consultants . It’s great to see some fresh faces keen to carry on the good work.”

You are more than enough
Celebrating every woman today ❣️🌼🌹
I’m so happy with my choices
Yet question them daily
I’ve never felt so accomplished
Then suddenly, failing
I’m excited for the future
Yet always looking back
I’m bursting at the seams
With all the things that I lack
I’m vacant
But always so full of you
I’ve learned so much
But still don’t have a clue
I’m close to my limit
But can’t get enough
I’m put upon, I’m passive
But undeniably tough
I’m gentle
But can’t help shouting
I’m certainly
Doubting
I’m oblivious
But care, so much, what you think
I’m the steady, stable one
Always teetering on the brink
I'm unemployed
Yet have never worked so bloody hard
I’m that happy smiling soul
Who’s full of mard
I’m permanently skint
But have never felt richer
I’m mindfully looking
At the bigger picture
I need a break
But always want you close
I’m invisible
But have never felt so exposed
I give others advice
I can’t seem to follow
I find yours, especially
Hard to swallow
I complain that I’m lonely
But just want to be alone
I’m positively grateful
But love a good moan
I’m absent
Yet ever-present
I’m dull
But effervescent
I’m tired
Yet enlivened
I’m loving this
But can’t abide it
I’m strong in my beliefs
Yet lack conviction
I’m reality TV
And a work of fiction
I’m the Mother
of all contradiction

Janeane you are so thoughtful 💕
ThankYOU!
Cyclone-damaged homes and properties have hit the headlines over the past
several weeks, but I've noticed an important group of pregnant mums may have
be overlooked in the stress of the situation.
Pregnant mums, especially first time mothers, are really struggling to find time to fit
in an important part of their pre-birth programme, as other events related to storm
damage – naturally - take priority.
A free online class that covers the full 6 week course in a short but informative touch-point overview.
Clearly we can’t go into all the detail that we cover in class every week,
but I have a real passion to make this available for those who might be struggling
due to personal, cyclone-related issues such as loss of housing, cleanup or travel
issues.
Anyone interested can log their details via text on 027 647 4428 or email
[email protected], before the end of April.
This is me tomorrow 😁 Feel free to share. See the post below to register 🥰

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter.
I hope your Easter break is spent with those you love and the Easter bunny brings you lots of spoils 💞
Today is International Womens Day. This year's theme is 'Embrace Equity'
"Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all "

I love this advice by La Leche League 🥰
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the cyclone. In emergencies and at other stressful times, many mums are concerned about the impact this will have on feeding. We know that communications are more difficult for many at this time, but we have trained volunteers available around the country and online to support you in your specific situation https://lalecheleague.org.nz/get-help-3/
