Some beautiful news to share with you all tonight

Sandra has met her surgical fundraising goal ♥️!!!

Between us and her GoFundMe campaign we have a tally of around $7750 - minus some fees that GoFundMe will take.

The pressure this has taken off Sandra at a very very vulnerable time is HUGE. On Wednesday when she goes in for her surgery she can relax knowing that the financial burden she faces is much eased by your immense kindness ♥️

Because she is self employed and on her own she has not been able to work over this time and this has been enormously hard for her, especially having limited support here in NZ with her family overseas.

To all the beautiful people who have reached in to help and donated, thank you with all our hearts.
We see you, we know who you are and we will support you in the future too. Many of you know of this breast cancer journey and how tough it can be… and you showed up in force to support a Ladybird in our presence. 🐞♥️

It’s very hard to believe that around 10 days after this happy photo was taken on December 1st, that one of our gorgeous team sitting at the table here, was told she had Breast Cancer.

Our beautiful Sandra who does all our stunning web design was faced with this devastating news less than two weeks before Christmas, after an already very stressful year personally.

She has recently been completing rounds of Chemo which has greatly shrunk her tumours, just fabulous news. Next however come her Mastectomies.
Fortunately Sandra has medical insurance which will cover her for a single mastectomy and reconstruction, but because she is opting to have a double Mastectomy due to a family history of Breast cancer, she is faced with the cost of a single mastectomy and reconstruction also.

Today she has called out for financial help and so we are sharing her GoFundMe link with our Muskoka Lifestyle friends. If anyone is in a position to help donate, even if it is just a tiny amount - we thank you with all our hearts. Every little bit helps and together we can make a huge difference.

You will notice the GoFundMe $$ are in kr which is Swedish currency as it has been organised by her friend over there. Sandra is Swedish but living here in Auckland NZ.

Alternatively, we are running a fundraiser for Sandra.
