DROWNING PREVENTION WEEK - FLOAT FIRST.... Monday 22nd July - 28th July (WORLD DROWNING PREVENTION DAY - Thursday 25th July) 💙🩵💙We are going BLUE and want to know what Water Safety Messages / Rules our Community knows. 🩵💙🩵 Next time you are in, this week... 💦Take time to look at our Water Safety wall and help us out by sharing your Water Safety Messages. 💦Then Ask reception for a sticky note. 💦Write down (or get someone to assist you in writing it) Ways you stay safe in, on and around water. 💦Stick it onto our Tips window. At the end of the week, we will create and share a list of the different Messages / rules we know. 🙂🙃🙂 HAPPY FLOATING

✅✅✅Always have Active Supervision - in, on and around water. You are your child's lifeguard. 🛀🏖🏞🌊💦🏊‍♀️ Be able to see, hear and react at all times. 👀👂🤚, to keep them safer.

💦💦💦Do you or your children know what to do if they fall into water unexpectedly??? Take time to discuss these options with them, practice together in a pool and help them be safer around and in water. 💦💦💦💦 Stay calm and do one of the below options - depending where you are... * Turn around and hold onto something you came from - side, boat, board... * Roll over and float on your back * Swim to a close exit point * Roll onto your back and arm up for Help * Tread water to look for help and signal These are all skills that our SwimMagic Swimmers will be practicing during July, our Water Safety Month. 🙂🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
